New Treatment Date - 17th August

Steves doctor called last night to tell Steve that they would like to move his treatment date to the 17th August as a particular Doctor that they would like to be involved is away on the 10th.
So now the treatment will take place on the following dates in St Barts Hospital.
17th August - Steve in hospital for one week
24th - Steve home for one week.
31st August - Steve in hosptial for one week
Then the 8 week break with the scan in the middle.

    Just caught up with your 2 month saga; I can barely imagine what you have been going through. Although this may be taken the wrong way (and I have a track history here don't I) I greatly enjoy your blog. It is so positive. I see the sunshine through the rain or this that my damp eyes.     Sally & Steve, I have just fully read your blog and admire both your courage and ability to laugh thru what is a terrible time for you both. Your mum put me onto your blog Sally and I'm always thinking of you. Hope your hols were a break away from all the hospitals and treatments.I have been thru chemo, surgery and now radiotherapy and I can confirm that laughter is the only way forward thru all the horrible treatments Steve will have to endure.

    Sally & Steve,

    I was passed this link by an old colleague. Sally you will not know me but I was fortunate enough to work with Steve some time ago and I was informed of his current challenge. I just wanted to pass on my best to him, you and the girls. Steve was always in a good frame of mind even when the tides changed, he could always see a silver lining. I have experienced the 'C' in most of my family and I hope his battle to overcome this ends in a magnificent win. I wish you all the best and Steve... don’t let the bugger grind you down.
